This application note describes a two-way audio communications link between a ‘Master’ and a ‘Slave’, based on the Texas Instruments CC1110 or CC2510 Systemon-Chip Low Power RF Transceiver ([1] and [2]) and the TLV320AIC26 Codec [5]. Use is made of the μ-Law compression/expansion algorithm implemented in CC1110 (CC2510) hardware.
